This chopstick rest can be used as a pen rest. Carefully handcrafted one by one by artisans of Ihoshiro Kiln.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the nature of the material, the surface of the pottery may show a crack-like pattern which is a characteristic feature of pottery called "kannyu". This appearance is a natural phenomenon and is not a defect so please understand this before purchasing. Some pieces may not have a pattern at first, but it may or may not gradually appear, and the pattern may become finer and more numerous over time.

Company Sustainability: The ceramic industry consumes a lot of energy because the clay is fired at a high temperature of over 1,000 degrees Celsius. To achieve sustainable manufacturing, Ihoshiro Kiln uses an electric kiln with low carbon dioxide emissions.
